Do NHS foundation doctors have to fill out tax return forms?

I was wondering , given the tax is taken from the employer themselves, do we have to fill out tax return forms?

Not unless you're self-employed in some capacity?

In that case, no. Your tax will automatically be deducted via PAYE.

You should, however, claim back tax where possible:

As in, you think it might be different as you are employed by the government.

No, it works in the same way. Your employer takes your tax out of your pay without you needing to fill out "tax return forms", just like everybody else.
