I know I’m an introvert, but I just realised I am so awkward socially.

I had a meeting earlier on on Zoom, and questions were put to me, and I was quiet as anything. Literally they had to keep calling me, to see if I was there or not.

How can I fix this please? How can I be more ‘open’ I don’t know if that makes sense 🙈🙈🙈 I just feel so shut off from the world. I don’t know.

Thank you for reading. 🙈🙈😓

Yeah me too - introverted and not very good at socialising, although I've never particularly liked it in the first place, so it doesn't bother me much lol. I also get anxiety a lot, so rather keep to myself.

Everybody is different. Some people are really loud and others are just naturally quiet. Having different people with different strengths makes the world go round. In class you always have a mixture of different types. It's just as well that not everybody is not the same. Just be yourself and don't worry about it.

I'm the total opposite its scary :blah:

When i suspect an introvert i shut up and not do all the talking or ask more open questions, it just prompts them to open up and let their guard down a bit, it requires patience for sure but its the only way to allow them to feel less awkward.

It doesn't help answer your question but just know that its okay to let people know you can take some time to open up and to bear with u, communicating that would mean a lot! :yep:

Hey

Bottom line. As long as you are interjecting with questions that need to be asked but leave the awkward ones to others, tis fine.

I was too gobby at work when younger and asked all of the awkward questions that helped all other staff but made me look v badddd.
Older and lot wiser I stay quiet and in meeting mush to mush people used to say that to me "Wolfy, you have anything to say...you are quiet."
My response is no, everything's covered and in my mind i think, "you mother ****ing lame **** stirring parasitic *******s." Apologies for the lingo but thats what I think of those people.
