I can’t really explain this one. But with today’s social standard, I feel theres a lot of pressure to look a certain way, have a certain body type etc.
Is it just me?

The answer to the question in the title of your thread is 'no, you don't'.
Having said that, there are better things you can aspire to be as a girl/woman than 'pretty'.

I agree there's tonnes of pressure to be slim, but the prettiest girl in my year is in no way skinny, yet everybody thinks she's hot. So definitely not!

Not at all. Some people are naturally skinnier than others and those who're not naturally like that will struggle at lot to become and remain skinny. So long as you're healthy, you can be pretty whatever your body type. Skinny isn't better or worse, I know gorgeous girls of all sizes (again, health both mental and physical is the goal here)

Bigger gals can be hot too.
Some of the prettiest people I know are people that wouldn't be classed as slim.

You don't! As long as you're healthy, you can be any size or shape and still be considered pretty

No.
Being attractive involves more than just your face and body appearance.
Personality, values, choices, sexual compatibility, achievements, ambitions and mindset.
People have different beauty standards, attraction dealbreakers and dating preferences.
Some prefer a body appearance that is slim and short.
Others short and thicc, many are only attracted to curvy with a fuller figure.
Plenty don't prefer a specific physical type and are attracted by personality, religious beliefs, political activism, values and personal ambitions.

I feel like the beauty standard now is to be "curvy"
But anyway, the answer is no, not at all.
