I am starting University in 2022 and want to study Zoology & Animal behaviour and welfare (I may also take a photography course on the side - but still unsure). I am currents studying Psychology, Biology and Chemistry at College and predicted ABB (my predictions BBC) . I have looked at a few universities and so far lean towards; Exeter, Chester and Bangor. However, I'm not sure where to go? (I do know however I don't want to stay in London.) I'm hoping someone can give me recommendations. As this is going to be the place where I spend the next few years (best few years) of my life. I want to be certain I am making the right decisions. Thank you for the help.

You can apply to up to 5 universities through UCAS, so you'd be able to apply to Exeter, Chester and Bangor (and 2 more) and see which universities you will get offers from.

P.S. You might want to not disclose your full name for privacy reasons. Anyone on the internet can see these pages.

If your account allows you, you may be able to change your username here:
https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/pro...o=editpassword

However this is only possible once every 12 months, so if the option isn't there for you then make a post in this private forum asking them to change your username.

Hi,

Great to hear that you are leaning toward Bangor, especially for Zoology it's a fantastic course here and you can find out more by clicking on this link:

https://www.bangor.ac.uk/natural-sci...ourses/zoology

I studied at Bangor for 3 years and I've stayed on to work for the University, I absolutely loved my time here as a student and I can give you some more info on that if you want to send a message

If you ant to chat to some of our students studying zoology with us already or staff from the department you can do this through Unibuddy:

https://www.bangor.ac.uk/student-lif...dents%20Button

They are more than happy to chat and happy to help with any queries and questions you may have.

We also have a virtual open day coming up on Saturday the 30th of Jan, you can register here:

https://www.bangor.ac.uk/openday/intro.php.en

We hope that we can invite you to an actual physical open day soon,

If I can help with anything else, please feel free to get in touch

Hi Sera,
Thank you so much for your time and response. It helped me a lot.

I have you few questions for you if you do not mind:
- I was wondering whether Bangor offers a PhD level course for Zoology.
- What was ur favourite memory about your course?
- Did you do a study abroad and how was it?
- What was your accommodation like?
- How did you find the area in general (things to do) as I live in a busy city and would love to like in a quieter place but that also has a lot on offer?

Thank you again and can't wait for the open day!
(Stay safe)
