Due to the COVID 19 situation I have zero friends at university and as a result have no one to live with next year.
-I don’t like any of my flatmates they are honestly the complete opposites to me we have nothing in common and they’re some of the least sociable people I’ve bet met
-I can’t drop out of uni as I already did that
-no societies or anything at all to talk/meet people
-no active/social Facebook pages for my university just general ones
-due to strict security haven’t been able to interact with people in other flats
So I’m pretty much ****ed in the friend department and I’m realistically going to have no friends for the remainder of my time at uni.

I was the same, but I did make a friend just by talking to my course mates, ( I’m still yet to meet them ) , but then one of my only friends left and I’m devastated. It won’t be like this forever, don’t worry! Trust me on that

Try and find a society with virtual events. I know of student groups at my uni doing this. Im a member of a sports team and even semester 1 I picked up on I think freshers in general have found it tougher finding their feet, took them a little longer to build rapport with the team & more time to build confidence to make jokes etc. I think its just one of the difficulties of limited socialising.

Perhaps see if your uni has a flatmate finder on facebook, if not look on spareroom.
