Making your own pre-workout?

I workout later in the evening and by then I’m usually in the need of something extra to keep me going, caffeine is out of the question because I’m extremely sensitive.

I’ve looked up some stuff regarding DIY pre-workout and a lot of terms are floated around that I don’t quite understand, not to mention the recommended dosage and sites to purchase from.

Any advice is appreciated

You are better off having a boost from carbs like banana or nut butter on wholemeal bread if you are going to be working out soon after eating. However, look at your diet for the rest of the day if you haven't got energy in the evening.

Without caffeine there's not gonna be much extra performance you get.
