Boyfriend has bad hygiene

So we’ve only been together for 5 months so I find it hard to tell him but he has the most nasty ears I’ve ever seen they’re full of wax and it really knocks me sick!
I try leaving hints and leaving the boxes of q tios around so maybe he’ll think oh I’ll clean them, I don’t know how Someone can not clean their ears I do mine almost everyday! It’s vile
I’m thinking to just break up but he’s on tag at the moment Snd it’s quarantine Snd he now has no where to go lol so I’m kind of stuck with him until he finds somewhere else
It’s drivin me nuts as it puts me off all my food all day... any help

Do I self care day with him, like face masks and doing your nails and using creams and that and do a few things with him and slowly enter the idea of cleaning his ears!

Talk to him about it and if he doesn't do/try to do fix his hygiene then breaking up would be valid. You can't break up with him if you just hint it (guys don't tend to understand any hints haha) so try to talk to him about how he should improve his hygiene.

I'm curious - how did you get together in the first place; did you both communicate and want to get together? I genuinely don't mean this in a rude way, but how can you just not communicate it to him that you think it's rather unhygienic? Since that's a key part of a good relationship

But besides this, I think some people use baby oil or something else and that softens the wax and it sort of slides out

Earwax usually falls out on its own. If it does not and blocks your ear, put 2 to 3 drops of olive or almond oil in your ear twice a day for a few days.
Over 2 weeks lumps of earwax should fall out of your ear, especially at night when you're lying down.
If it builds up too much and doesn't fall out on its own, then yes he probably should clean it. Not really ignorant for wanting someone to clean it lol....

2 There's a huge difference between letting some drops of olive oil fall into your ears and cleaning them with Q tips.
3 And if the ear wax doesn't fall out of its' own accord, not even with olive oil and it's causing a loss of hearing then proper medical help should be sought instead of sticking stupid Q tips in your ear.
