You’re doing 8! Think the recommended is 9 but not sure. But aslong as you have your English and Maths, you should be okay!

As in higher tier maths? That’s just one gcse but you have to sit 3 papers for it (if that’s where you’re getting confused)

I don't understand why you want to do more. Doing 9 GCSE's is perfectly fine, most people in my school did (I did 10).

i mean it really depends on ur school, i did 9 gcse’s but then also an RS short course and a HPQ, which are both half gcse’s each

my school had the option to do dance gcse as well, but that was it

I’m just scared I won’t get into my desired college, but if most ppl are doing/ have done 9 then I reckon it doesn’t matter

Presumably nine, if by "English" you mean both language and literature.

Wait wait wait... 9 is the norm? My school has 11 as the norm... Because in my school, you either have:
1:
-eng lang and eng lit
-maths
-double science
-french
-re
-history or geography or computing
-ict
-two subjects you choose
OR
2
-eng lang and eng lit
-maths
-triple science
-french
-re
-history or geography or computing
-two subjects you choose
