Since you're studying medicine I'd aim for the nursery one, its a lot more relevant to your future career than sales work, something like that could make that little bit of difference when it comes to a job. And at the end of the day, I guess you should really do what you'll enjoy more.

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, i'm currently studying at Southampton university. I am lucky to have 2 days off a week and i've been moaning about how i need to get a job! During freshers week the University nursery had a stand and i got chatting to one of the ladies working there. I told her about my previous experience and she said they often needed relief workers. She took my number but didn't get back to me.

Until now. I've just been called up and offered an interview which i have accepted. I'd love to work with kids again, and they have a wide age range there. The only thing is its only £5.45 an hour. I was making more than that working in a shop, and kids are hard work! At the nursery i worked at in London i got double that, and i know i could get more doing shop work but i'd really like to work in a nursery again.

So what do i do? (If i am offered a position that is!)
That's quite good for a student rate. Was your shop job in London too by any chance? The average shop pay here is about £4.80. I'm in Bournemouth so just up the road from you.
