Hi, first time posting.

A few years ago i attempted to do a PGCE (lifelonglearning) I stayed on the course for the duration but i did not pass it and achieve a quilification.

Because i have had my funding once for this i asssume i could not apply and study this course again to retry and pass this time?. Thank you

Hi, as long as you will be achieving Qualified Teacher Status for the first time, your course is non salaried and under 2 years long, then your previous study will not affect your eligibility.
Thanks, Isaac

Thank you for your reply. With the PGCE in lifelong learning or sometimes called post 16 sector, you dont achieve QTS when you do the quilification you just get the certificate itself and then if you want you can apply for QTLS with an industry body though its not a requirment. Does this clear it up, when you say quilified teacher status do you mean the QTS you gain during the other PGCE'S or do you just mean gaining the teaching quilification itself? cheers

Please confirm your full course details and all of your previous study details.
Thanks, Isaac
