Why are McDonald's staff so rude?

there not all rude, it's usually the customers that r rude to them and she probably just doesn't like working there

They need the income, references or employment history.
That said, not enjoying the job that they have chosen or being unsuited to a customer service role is no excuse for behaving unpleasantly towards the customers whose money pays towards their paychecks and keeps the employer in business.

I was being polite and I just dont understand, I've said a few times like why is she working there if she doesn't like it

I've been in one too many late night McDonald's and seen them having to deal with some really *****y customers in return for low pay. I'd give the staff a bit of a break about not having fantastic customer service.

I went to McDonald's drive thru for dinner and the bird serving me was so rude, she couldn't understand me and she was like "what". Then when they brought the food to my car she was just here you are and seemed really grumpy like why is that.

maybe because you called her "bird"?

What, do you expect her to ask you how your day was going and bring you your food with a beaming smile? Its fast food, not fine dining.

I expected better customer service

they forgot to give us fries or something that we had ordered and paid for, so my dad went back up to them and told them about it lol and i forgot what they said but i think they were sarcastic or rude or something along those lines

and so u should, I have found them to be friendly most of the time

Their junk food has been loved for years, but be careful! They handle your food appallingly, you don't want to know what happens in that kitchen!
