I went to McDonald's drive thru for dinner and the bird serving me was so rude, she couldn't understand me and she was like "what". Then when they brought the food to my car she was just here you are and seemed really grumpy like why is that.

Not all McDonald's staff are grumpy etc. McDonald's workers have to put up with a lot anyway, as it's the sort of place where customers seem to think they can look down on them. Plus they are considered an essential worker and are working in this pandemic. It probably wasn't meant that way.
Don't **** off somewhere/something unless you have tried it.
oh hey man that's not very nice. I was just saying, it's not exactly the 21st century dream now is it?.
But hey, since you mentioned it, you can absolutely say something is bad without trying / working there. I mean even if you don't mind the cultural stereotype of it being a low ambition / low socioeconomic job then surely one can take an objective look at McDonalds and see that they're highly unethical to both the consumer and the producers, with continuous food sourcing scandals, preparation scandals and the huge negative effect they've had on peoples diets all over the world. The corporate schemes of targeting low income neighbourhoods, the supposed unethical marketing to children. 0 hour contracts not securing work for their so-called 'employees'.
I mean we don't even have to look at any of these things if you don't want to, all you have do to is ponder the thought "does anyone actually wantto work at McDonalds". I mean I'm sure you'll find those who do, but I doubt it's a very large number. But hey, I understand that after 9 years of working somewhere you'll be defensive of it, it's a big part of your life I'm sure. My joke about the woman not enjoying her job because it's McDonalds clearly didn't go down well for you, but I guess it's a tough crowd...

It's actually better than people give it credit for. The money is above minimum wage (at one point I was getting paid more an hour there than at the nursery I also worked at There's plenty of training. For example the franchisee who owned by old store and at least 15 others started off from the bottom. She is now s multi millionaire.

we are all human and sometimes people are imperfect and shove their problems onto others. I fully relate and now just accept it to happen at times in any public/consumer serving role. it still does not justify it but i hope this helps empathise
