Grades for Manchester Physics? Urgent

On their website (https://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/2021/00638/bsc-physics/) it says the entry requirements are "A*A*A (to include Physics and Maths)"

Does this mean that the A*A* must be in Physics and Maths or the can they be any combination? Cheers
I think it means you need 2A*s and 1 A, but of the 3 subjects one needs to be physics, and another in maths. There are no mention saying you need both of your A*s to be in Physics and Maths, but at least one of the A* subjects needs to be Physics or Maths. You might want to call up undergrad admissions to check though.

Hi @gym_leader_yeet,

I agree with what MindMax2000 said. If a degree requires certain grades in certain subjects they'll specify that and make it very clear. For example, to study physics at Southampton it says "AAB-ABB including grades AA-AB in mathematics/further mathematics and physics". But if you are still concerned, definitely get in contact with the admissions team. They would much rather clear up any uncertainties than have you make incorrect assumptions and then have difficulties with your application later on.
