I’ve recently turned 18 this month and I dropped out of college last year to care for a sick family member whose more at risk of getting a bad form of the virus. Do you think a sixth form will accept me?

It depends tbh. I know some people who were in sixth form until they were 20 but at the sixth form’s discretion.

The idea was they attended the sixth form before they turned 21. Again, it is up to the sixth form itself and every sixth form is different.

Essentially they were 20 before the summer holidays started. So say the summer holidays began on the 24th July and the person’s birthday was on the 27th July, the sixth form I attended would allow them to attend the year.

I turned 18 this month meaning I’d be 20 +a few months when I finish. I want to retake the full 2 years tbh. Is this plausible?

Again, it depends on the sixth form and you would need to make this clear to them and then it is their decision to let you do one or two years. I can’t speak for any sixth form as everyone’s policies are different.

I attended a sixth form once which wouldn’t allow retakes, hence why I changed sixth forms and attended the one I spoke about earlier in a previous post.

If not, a college is always an option as opposed to a sixth form?
