Hi, does anyone know where our student ID is to apply for accommodation? I've checked my emails and UCAS but I can't find it anywhere

If it still doesn't work, call the university and they will be able to help you out.

My UCAS number finally worked!

But now I have a different problem. Whilst I was filling out my details, I noticed that the ethnicity option only has numbers for some reason? Did this happen to anyone else too?

Oh yeah it did that to me too. I don't think I filled that one in. I was so confused when I saw that!

I’m from the north east and I’m going to study at Sunderland in the summer. Durham is a beautiful city and has many historic buildings and cobbled street. While Newcastle is more urban with lots of shopping opportunities with the Metro Centre shopping mall close by. All the cities have positives (Sunderland: cheap city to live in & very nice beach & many sports clubs to join. Newcastle: has many bars, restaurants and clubs. Durham: can be very quiet and nice scenery when walking along the rivers. But like all cities there are negatives such as crime due to Uni student going clubbing.

Anybody else notice that the start date for the course is 13th Sept, but the start date for the accommodation is the 18th Sept?

I've raised the point with accommodation. No solid answer yet.

I called them up and asked and they said they would amend our accommodation contracts accordingly. Don’t know when they will do this though.
