Hello! That's amazing, good luck with it !!!! Sure it's going to be brilliant!
I still have to submit my application but hoping to do it end of this month - and praying the course doesn't close by then!

Hello everyone, I've got my interview next week and I was wondering if anyone had any tips/could share what the format is etc? Aware I'm coming into this thread years after the last post, but would love some info if anyone has some!

Hi there,

First of all, massive congrats on getting to the interview stage, that’s a huge achievement in itself! 🎉

You’ll usually be asked to talk about your writing sample, what inspired it, what you're trying to explore through your prose, and how you see your voice developing. They might ask about your writing habits, authors or genres that influence you, and what you hope to gain from the course. It’s not a test, it’s more like a thoughtful conversation, and they’re genuinely interested in how you think about writing.

A good tip: reread the work you submitted beforehand and be ready to speak about your process and decisions.

It’s okay to be a bit nervous, just be yourself and be honest about where you are in your writing journey. They’re not expecting a polished novelist; they’re looking for potential, passion, and people open to growth.

Best
