Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone took ancient history/classics at A-level. I’m thinking of taking it but I would like to know more about it and I can’t find much on YouTube, online or even nearby colleges. Could you give me your opinions on how it was, what it entailed and your experience?

Many thanks!

I enjoyed doing GCSE classics. I remember learning about Greek history and writings such as the Iliad. If you want an idea of A-Level Classics though, which I did not do, then it might be worthwhile to check the syllabus on the exam board websites e.g.:
