A level Physics help

Hi I has this question whether I can give definitions in A level physics through formulas instead of giving it in the written form

Just copying out the formula from the sheet likely isn't going to give you any marks, but a lot of the time just expressing the formula in prose is good enough.
e.g. if a question asked "define capacitance" for 1 mark, writing C = Q/V probably wouldn't get you the mark, but "charge stored per unit potential difference" would.
