What are my chances of receiving an offer from the University of St Andrews?

Hi,

I've applied to study History at St Andrews for 2021 entry.

I'm a Scottish applicant (making it harder to get an offer because of the cap on places) who achieved 5As and 3Bs at National 5 (probably much lower grades than the standard St Andrews applicant), and 4As and a B at Higher. This year I am predicted 3 As (Advanced Higher English, Advanced Higher History, and crash Higher Classics).

I was told by my teachers/advisors at school that my PS was strong because I included a lot of extra/supercurriculars, books I've read and the impact they have had on the way I view history, started a history club, completed a MOOC on a relevant topic, listened to podcasts etc etc.

What do you think my chances of receiving an offer are? Be brutally honest if need be.

Btw I go to a private school, so they may expect more of me because I've had more opportunities to succeed than the average applicant...
