I don't like baths that much anyway, especially when I'm ill or in pain, because it's just so much more of a hassle.

Besides, having waterjets from the shower beating on your tummy is quite relieving

The hot water in a bath pretty much stops your period..

I have been on the pill since I was 15 as two other prescriped anti inflammatory drugs didn't help my excrutiating period pain at all. The pill did for a while but is losing it's effect..I'm 18 now. Alternate ibuprofen and paracetamol, have a hot water bottle, try feminax..just rest a lot even if you do have exams. Stress can definitely make period pain worse.
