Some aspects of finance will involve high level maths (strong A Level Maths recommended), especially if it talks about financial markets, derivatives, and real options.
If it's a standard accounting and finance course, then the hard part is understanding how financial accountants think. The maths is straightforward (GCSE level-ish, possibly AS level), but the reasoning is especially difficult. If you're more analytical and like the quantitative stuff, you can find the law, financial accounting, and audit modules hard. If you're maths oriented, then you should find the economics, management accounting, and stats modules relatively easy.
