Hello,
I'm really stuck with what to take for university. I'm year 12 right now and I need some idea before the tutor kills me (/jk)
I took physics, maths and French and am aiming for ABB (i go to a college which is eligible for a contextual offer)
I don't really have any interests apart from history and space. My best subjects at GCSE were english lit and history.

edit: looking at everything everyone has put, thank you so much! i'm looking at international courses now [hoping to be closer to my partner in Norway] but no where seems to offer the courses I want so Northern Ireland it is for Erasmus

I don't know, not even a rough idea so any help would be highly appreciated.

there's space science degrees and physics with space science degrees - you'd cover science, space, some degree of space related history and taking french can help too as it shows thinking and communication skills that could be essential

Hi Georgia

My daughter is a first year at Lancaster uni studying physics, particle physics and cosmology. she also applied for physics and astrophysics there too in the same application. She also has said that to study at Lancaster for physics, theres people there thats done the further maths, and people there who have not and they still do fine on the course, because the lecturers and assistants there are excellent. She loved astronomy for years, but then did particle physics at notts uni on work experience and knew that was her thing

A good thing you can listen to is PBS spacetime. She loves that podcast

Hey!
I'm in the same year as you, studying physics, maths, and chemistry I'm very interested in space too so I'm applying for Physics and astronomy/astrophysics courses!

I recommend you look for courses to do with your interests(as it will really help alot if you're interested in the subject you study lmao), especially look at the course topics as it will allow you to research and see what is interesting to you

If it helps, these are the courses I'm looking at:
