It won’t have any impact on your application to medical school whatsoever. Pick the subject you’ll do best in because it’s your grade that matters.

Religious Education as people usually want doctors and GPs who understand their religious beliefs so you can communicate better with them in personal situations or when asking personal questions. Because some religious people may be offended by some questions GP asks.

choose the one you enjoy the most, and try to get the highest grade you can. I don't think GCSE options matter as much as a levels.
