How to achieve a 2.1

Hi all, I was just wondering, this may sound like a silly question but if I score 60 or over in year 2 and 60 or over in year 3 does that definitely guarantee me a 2.1 overall. Also year 1 doesn't count towards my overall classification.
Yes it does, year one definitely doesn't count, year 2 counts for 40% of your overall mark and year 3 counts for 60%. If you have 60% overall on both years your degree classification will be a 2.1.

You are correct that the OP would get a 2.1 in those circumstances. However, not all unis work on a 40:60 weighting - some use 1/3:2/3 for example, and some DO count first year.
