What are Imperial College London Physics interviews like?

I'm applying for 2022 entry into a Physics MSci, so will probably have an interview next academic year. What was your experience like - did they 'grill' you on maths and physics like Oxbridge supposedly would or was it more about you / your personal statement / or was it a mix?

Mix of both for me, but also depended on who your interviewer was - I don't think they've got it that standardised. Had a discussion about bits of my personal statement, then a couple maths/physics problems. They're not going to give you olympiad problems.

A large majority of people who get interviewed end up getting an offer so they're not really using it to whittle the competition down.
