Sent the application away in late January, so I was surprised by that early answer...

Not that I wanna brag, but...

York
Durham
Warwick
Manchester
UCL
St. Andrews

6* unconditional offer to read physics, I´m having a hard decision...

Hey ben2111, we applied to nearly the same set of unis!

York - unconditional (English)
St. Andrews - unconditional (English/French)
Warwick - unconditional (English/French)
Durham (Castle - how stupid am I?) - rejected (English)
UCL - still waiting (English)
Nottingham - still waiting (English/French)

Has anyone (especially internationals) heard from UCL or Nottingham? Since I'm international, I didn't need to go for an interview, but I heard that if they don't invite you, you'll usually receive a letter asking you to send them some critical essays. And last I heard from Nottingham was when I received my fee status confirmation letter. I'm getting impatient...

I'm from Denmark, but I did my IB in Singapore. I applied for English/French at three unis and just English at the three other unis since they don't offer that combination. Anyway, congratulations on getting six offers! Wow

Offer to do PPE at Warwick, 37 IB points.

Ah, coolio.

You must be going to choose that over Durham, now?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! First choice!

Liverpool University
B520 | Orthoptics BSc (Hons)
Conditional offer
240 UCAS tariff points

*dances around the room* At last, all my replies are in - 5/6 with one rejection from Nottingham (hahaha, I don't care 'cause I'm so happy happy happy!)

Best of all, this is the lowest offer of the lot so I'll get in there no problem - even if I didn't continue with any of my A-Levels I'd still have 210 tariff points! Probably have Edinburgh (Zoology BSc) as my insurance if they'll let me, though I shouldn't need it!

Yay, that made my week

Although I submitted my application late (9th February), I have already received two offers:

London Metropolitan University
Communications and English Language Studies
Conditional offer - IELTS score of at least 5.5 overall or 5.0 in each module

King's College London
English Language & Communication
Unconditional offer

I am a mature student (therefore no A-level requirement) and from the Czech Republic, hence the IELTS condition.
