Unconditional offer for dentistry

I’m in yr 11 and was wondering how do you get unconditional offers. Furthermore how do you get it for dentistry? Do you need really good gcse and a levels or really good a levels only?

unconditionals for dentistry will be for people who applied already having their A levels only, nothing else

If you apply for dentistry after leaving school (i.e. after finishing year 13), you would already have achieved your A levels.

Yes. Usually students who apply post A levels tend to be on a gap year. University applications start in the autumn of the year before, and closes in the January. You can apply for dentistry in year 13, but you will only ever get a conditional offer. Same with medicine and vetmed.
You will need to take, chemistry, biology and maths or physiscs at A level, and achieve AAA.

If you do an access programme in a uni (beware as not all have them) sometimes grades are reduced from the required AAA to AAB or even ABB.
You can only get an unconditional offer IF you’ve already completed your alevels that consist of biology, chemistry and something else and got your grades that are decent so AAA or say AAB due to an access programme.
And you only get the offer if you’ve passed the selection part for the interview and passed the interview.
Access programmes are only for the one in your city and not all of the universities have them.
I just wanted you to be aware of the access programme.

2 things to note here:
- The application deadline for dentistry closes in mid-October, not January.
- Biology and chemistry are generally the required subjects. The third subject does not matter and does not have to be maths or physics.

It depends on tge university but I dont think many give unconditional offers. Some look at gcses and Alevels tigether and then i think nearly all interview. If you have excellent grades abd have already achieved your Alevel already and ace interview then perhaps you could get unconditional offer.
