Hi guys
I am currently nearly at the end of aat level 2 and will progress to do aat level 3 after. I am thinking of practicing bookkeeping/accounting under the aat on a self-employed basis one day. How should I go about this?

I think you need to complete your AAT to Level 4, then get one year's experience after that. That should allow you to open up your own practice.

I'd check with AAT first though.

As above. You dont technically need any qualifications at all to practice on your own, but you would be way better off completing AAT level 4 and the practical experience required to get their qualification, support and access to insurance. God luck!
