I'm really embarrassed and I don't know why- it has taken me until 16 and a half to start- what do I say? Please be kind and actually help and not say anything mean- I'm literally so lost on how to say it in a non awkward way

Tell yourself it's nothing that you should feel awkward about (because it isn't, it's entirely natural) and just tell her - don't make a big thing about it if you don't want to!
There's also no law or anything that says that you have to tell her because it's your body and your private life so if you really don't want to then don't, but life is much easier if you can
