I have been in bed since approx 11 and I still can't fall asleep - any help greatly appreciated x

Unfortunately, it might just be one of those nights when you can’t fall asleep! To try and help me fall asleep I like to use background noise, whether that’s music or white noise on youtube.

An occasional restless night is perfectly normal.
Get out of bed and do something relaxing. Whether thats reading, drawing, cooking something small, etc. You cant force yourself to sleep, trying to is only going to stress you out and make it harder to sleep. When you start feeling tired, go to bed.
Also get off your phone or computer ( whatever you're typing this one ). The bright light from the screen isnt going to help your efforts to fall asleep.

Relax your whole body, release tension in your shoulders, neck, legs, face etc, take deep breaths and count how many breaths you make you should be able to sleep after a bit

Thanks for all the tips guys...in the end I fell asleep around 2:45. Btw person I quoted my brightness was at its dimmest and no blue light. I only turned this on for around 5 mins just to ask for help x I don't usually have it on that late
