University of Birmingham or University of Leicester for Law

- still a chance of getting into MC or US firms ?
- teacher assessed grades aren’t looking too good- ABC :/ and both unis conditional for AAB
- for UoBirmingham which accom do you recommend?
what are your honest thoughts guys?

The odds are definitely against you, but thats in no way saying it's not possible. Can't comment on the unis themselves, but people get contracts at MC firms from lower ranked unis. Most important thing is to network well, really focus on grades and work hard. Obviously its easy to say that and a different thing to do it, but it's no reason to give up! You may not aquire a TC first time round, and if you don't there's always the option to do an LLM at a more prestigious uni if you do well at undergrad. Good luck!

I think you're more likely to get into Leicester with ABC and you can still get training contracts with a Law degree from Leicester although some firms have high A level requirements.

MC or US firms will mainly take people with better A levels like AAA/AAB, nothing to do with whether you end up at Birmingham or Leicester.
