Birmingham or Nottingham?

Hi! So I’ve applied for 2021 entry to study civil engineering at both Nottingham and Birmingham and received offers back from both of them (Notts AAB and Birmingham ABB). I’ve been to both of them and had a walk round the city and the campus and loved them both. I initially really liked Nottingham (even though Birmingham is ranked higher for my course and just generally). I then went to Birmingham and really liked it too. The accommodation is slightly more expensive in Birmingham so that’s something to consider too. I’m not that fussed about societies/extra-curricular stuff I’m just wondering if anyone has any insights to what university offers more in terms of student life or where you’ll get better teaching. Also if anyone knows anything about the engineering department at both, that would be appreciated too! Thanks!!
