Foundation Art & Design at UAL:CSM

I've already applied to the BA Architecture course, but I am thinking that my portfolio or my grades might not be strong enough, therefore, I am thinking of doing the foundation art and design: Architecture. However, what will happen to my Ucas application for BA Architecture if I apply to foundation art & design or what will happen to my foundation art & design if I get into the BA Architecture course?

I think the foundation art & design application will be my back up option, right?
nothing, the foundation application has nothing to do with UCAS. You will hopefully get both options and then you have more time to choose what to do.
