Does anyone know any of the main properties of hydrogen halides/metal halides? Eg boiling point, conductivity, solubility in water, etc. I've been googling and it doesn't seem that there are many definitive answers for most of these... (except a few eg that hydrogen halides dissolve in water to form acidic solutions)

Think about the bonding in each.

Metals are metals (amazing stuff) and halogens are non-metals - what kind of bonding will occur here?
Once you know the bonding it should answer the metal halides properties.

Hydrogen halides are a little more atypical if you were to just go off the bonding. They are polar so they display some both ionic properties and some more covalent properties (it's a spectrum).
C - similar to covalent compounds
I - more similar to ionic compounds
BP - C (HF is anomalous)
Conductivity - C
Solubility - I
