Not enough UCAS points to study primary education

Hi everyone

I want to study primary education somewhere in the north east but only have 2 A levels. C in Business and C in Psychology as I failed Maths. I have been a teaching assistant for a year and have lots of experience in the field but my UCAS points are still letting me down. I have looked at doing a foundation year or study something else and do a PGCE but I'd prefer to get straight into studying.

Thought I would just put it out there and ask if there's anything I can do to have a better chance of getting in? They won't even consider me due to my grades although I have experience in the field and a great reference from my head teacher.

Thanks!
