    For MEI C1 are you allowed to use calculators. I'm fairly certain that you can't (because all other C1s are non-calc), but when i asked my teacher he said that as far as he knows you are just not allowed to use graphic calculators. It seems more than a little wrong that a board wouldnt let a school know when there is a drastic change like this.

    though so. really should talk to my teacher, he's teaching us to do everything on a calculator (e.g. binomial expansion- i dont want to be dependent on the nCr button )

    Is that in C1 for you? It's in C2 for me, but I'm on Edexcel...

    And binomial expansion, it's just n!/r!(n-r)!

    yeah its c1 . stupid board. and not just the easy pascals triangle way, you have to be able to use the formula :mad: its all very well with a calculator, but without is just mean, (and unfair since people on other boards get them)
