Is it possible to work out and get bigger bum whilst being in a cal deficit. If so what type of weights should I get, how many kg and what type of exercises xx as I tried to work out my bum and noticed it got smaller ?

I don't know all of what you should do, I'm not a professional, but squats while holding weights/dumbells will help get a bigger glute. Also, lose weight in other places. I'd see a physical trainer for more help.

any variation of squat as long as you make it harder each time (most commonly increase weights)
make sure deficit is no more than 300 if you want to persevere muscle
