Facebook has finally started implementing end to end encryption, and people are actually angry about it. Apparently violating the rights of everyone is acceptable if it helps bring a handful of people to justice. That's actually kind of shocking that people feel that way. Do we install cameras in everyone's home just to bring a few people who do bad things to justice? I just hope Facebook makes a secure, better platform then proceeds to rub it in the liberals face.

Great news, even though Facebook is rather bad for privacy in general this is better than nothing. Though personally I don't use FB, I prefer using Signal for encrypted messaging which is what I've got on my phone atm.
