Oxbridge DPhil students/ offer holders - where did you get your BA/MA

Hi!
I want to apply to Oxford (possibly, Cambridge too) for a DPhil but by BA is from a university abroad and MA is from St Andrews. I haven't seen a lot of people getting into Oxbridge for a DPhil without a previous Oxbridge degree so feeling slightly disheartened... Is it worth a shot? Do people get in from other universities? Just really interested in hearing where successful DPhil candidates have gotten their previous degrees from.
