A quick story if I may ... a friend of mine used to work 12+ hours days in finance in the City. He was extremely well paid so could afford to stay in a hotel during the week. His actual home was a poorly looked after apartment in south London. He was out to restaurants with clients and colleagues every night.

With the lockdown, he's had to work from home and hated it at first. I mean he didn't even have a sofa or dining table!

How are people on here coping with a dramatic change in lifestyle?

Why the hell would he stay in a hotel instead of just renting closer to his office? Sounds like a massive waste of money. Most people just work at home...
