Queen Mary and its nightlife

Anyone go here now, and if so, whats the nightlife like...or do you have to go right into london? seemed a bit dead when i went up there but maybe i should have turned right not left? :hello:

a friend of mine who used to go to queen mary said the social life is pretty crap.

london itself has a lot of things to offer like gigs,clubs,etc!

Hey guys!

I'm an American second-year college student looking to study abroad in the Spring of 2006. My school (University of Southern California) offers a program that seems great for my major at Queen Mary.

I'm not sure if I'm willing to leave my school for a semester, and right now I'm just feeling the university out. I loved London the last time I visited, and think the opportunity would be great. What is the school like, though? Is it all work and no play? Do students get along and like to have fun? In the U.S. there is a lot of partying at homes and fraternities. Is there anything like this at Queen Mary, or do students mostly just go out to bars? Or do students not like to party as much at Queen Mary?

What else are the students interested in there? Is the school big on sports, etc?
