Change from migrant worker to home student

Hello,
I am a student in my second year of an undegraduate course and next academic year will be going on a study placement abroad. I am currently receiveing a tuition and mainteinance loan as a migrant worker but obviously next year won’t be able be able to work as I will be overseas. By the start of the acedemic year I will be resident in the uk for 5 years... can I change my application and apply as a home student to keep receing a maintenance loan?

I have a presettled status as i first entered the country on the 5th september. The course normally starts mid september
