I don't know why I never realised this before lockdown but British beaches and coastline are totally beautiful. Did anyone else properly realise that before?

Unless you’ve just arrived in the uk, that’s a pretty idiotic thing to miss, given we are an island after all.
But yea, the uk coast is amazing. Shame the weather often isn’t, but for those sunny times when it’s actually reasonably hot, there are few places I’d rather holiday than somewhere nice down in Devon or Cornwall.
Shame though that it’s a complexly weather lottery. Me and my family used to go every year, and it’s just pot luck. Some years it’s amazing, others your rained in for a week. If your flexible though and can go anytime then it’s a dream.
