i am currently studying at wirral met college doing welding and i have college 2 days a week however i want to go on to do my a levels instead but i am 17 and would be a year late but is it possible to join a sicth form and do a levels in the upcoming with regards to my age?

Yes but it is down to the sixth form’s rules.

For example, the first sixth form I went to didn’t allow anyone to sit sixth form for more than 2 years.

However the next one I went to allowed people to stay until they were 20 (so long as you were still 20 before the summer holidays began and didn’t turn 21).

So, I would ask the sixth forms you were considering before joining and finding out the answer is no.
