Can I apply for bursury if I'm on a foundation year?

Someone told I could apply for a bursury however my alevel grades aren't the best hence why I'm doing a foundation year.
Is it possible for me to apply or is it only for people whose grades are exceptional.

It depends on the uni. Most unis give you for 3-4 years and some only give you once for the first year.
