Bristol alternative course for aerospace engineering

Hi, I just got rejected from Bristol for doing aerospace engineering but got alternative courses to be considered for: engineering mathematics, mechanical and electrical engineering and electrical and electronical engineering. I chose to be considered for mechanical and electrical engineering as the first year courses seem very similar to aerospace apart from one course.

It states on the email that I wouldn't be able to be transferred to my original chosen course in second year but I know some people that have been able to be transferred at other unis. I was wondering if anyone who chose an alternate course for Bristol and was able to transfer the next year? I really want to study aerospace and have heard back from two other universities for aerospace now but they're more lower tariff universities. I don't really know what to do or if I'm even able to get a place at this new course.

Any help or advice is much needed and welcomed!

You could always try and apply to a higher tariff uni through clearing if you dont like your decision come August?
