Can an Indian Postgraduate law student secure a training contract?

Hello, I am pursuing my masters at kings. All set to graduate in sept 2021. I have been applying to a lot of law firms for Vac schemes and TC. I have heard that it’s really hard for international students to secure a TC in the UK. I have also heard that international students don’t have to apply for a vac scheme (as they won’t get one) and should start applying for TC directly... so I’ve been focusing on polishing my TC applications. I have done a lot of internships in India + volunteering experience. How can I try securing a TC as an international student? Is it actually that hard to get one? Or do law firms prefer hiring students from the UK only? I would really like to work here. This has been stressing me out quite a bit.
