I haven't received any offers from my chosen unis for a different course yet, but biomedical sciences has been in the back of my head for a while now.

So my question is, How often does biomedical sciences come up in clearing?
People that are doing biomed, how do you find the course? Where do you plan to go with it, career wise? I wanted to consider being a physician associate, or maybe get involved in forensics (saw that could be a career option from this course)
Are there maybe alternative courses that could suit me? I like sciences, currently doing an access course in health sciences, like being hands on, not just stuck behind a desk, I enjoy directly dealing with / treating patients (current uni application is for dental hygiene and therapy).

Guess I'm just after 1st hand experience of the course and what people want to do with it.

Yes, Biomed does come up in Clearing - but it tends to be in short supply because its a favourite alternative for Medicine rejects. If you look a bit wider, you might find other options.
