    Could anyone tell me the role of lyposomes in gene therapy? got exam tomorrow! ah!!!

    Umm I think it's that you can put plasmids into the lyposomes and they fuse with the cell surface membrane, releasing the DNA into the target cells. If I recall correctly, it's not always that good though because it's difficult to get the DNA to where you want it within the cell, i.e. out of the cytoplasm.
