I'm doing some mock exam papers (ungraded) and do not understand this question or how to start working it out, could someone help please?
What is 0.21 as (i) a fraction of 0.35 and (ii) a percentage of 0.35.

For (i) a as a fraction of b is a/b, preferably simplified to take out any common factors between top and bottom.
For (ii) you should know how to convert a faction to a percentage.

divide the top and bottom by the common factor (7)
