Hello
I'm doing some mock exam papers (ungraded) and do not understand this question or how to start working it out, could someone help please?

What is 0.21 as (i) a fraction of 0.35 and (ii) a percentage of 0.35.

For (i) a as a fraction of b is a/b, preferably simplified to take out any common factors between top and bottom.

For (ii) you should know how to convert a faction to a percentage.

0.21/0.35 = 21/35

divide the top and bottom by the common factor (7)

omg thank you thought so but for some reason, the 100% (0.35) was throwing me off!
